Description: This wood lathe is solidly constructed in cast iron with a turning length between centres of 1092 mm and a swing of 356mm. The cast iron Head stock can be rotated to 45, 90 and 180 degrees plus positioned and locked at any point on the bed. The MC 1100 is powered by a 1 hp aluminium framed fan cooled induction motor with variable speed control allowing quick and easy speed control with a range of speeds between 500 to 2000 rpm . The MC 1100 is supplied standard with a sturdy stand, 150mm faceplate, 350 mm tool rest and a live centred tail stock. Optional 125mm and 100mm 4 Jaw self -centring chucks available and 100 mm face plate.
